WHO WE ARE:
Be Brave Bears is a charitable organisation run by volunteers who send personalised keepsake bears to children who are terminally ill or have life limiting conditions.
Each of our bears is sponsored by either businesses, individuals, families, school or groups meaning these bears are free of charge to the children*.
Once completed each bear is placed in a special keepsake bag and given to the child complete with certificate.
*The sponsorship does not include postage and packaging of the bear.
How it works:
TO NOMINATE:
Anyone can nominate a sick child to receive a bear by completing the form in the nomination area of our website.
On successful acceptance we will contact you by e-mail with further details.We cannot estimate the time it may take once a nomination has been approved to us finding a sponsor for the nomination. Once a sponsor has been found for a nomination we aim that the expected time of a child receiving their bear is 2 weeks.
TO SPONSOR:
The cost of each bear is £30.00
You can sponsor a Be Brave Bear by completing the form in the sponsor area of our website.
You can sponsor a child you know or we will sponsor a child on your behalf from our nominated list.
You will receive a photograph emailed of the completed bear and asponsorship certificate with the name of the child who you have sponsored.
We are working towards publishing a Roll of Honour of all the sponsors.

We have 2 volunteers who also do the work free of charge.
